If you love your old-school US sportswear, then you might like the look of the newly-launched and vintage-style MLB windbreakers by Ebbets Field.

It’s a label I have featured a couple of times in the past on the site. You might recall the vintage sports sweatshirts and the vintage US soccer track tops, for example. That petty much sums up what the label is about.

Classic and sometimes long-lost sports teams on vintage or retro pieces. Some obvious., like baseball uniforms and baseball caps. Others less so, like the ‘lost’ teams within the US soccer designs. This new range sits somewhere between the two.

There’s one other common denominator about the ranges as well. High quality. This isn’t cheap sportswear. It’s more in the premium range. Especially when you factor in shipping, as much of the range is only available in the US since the European part of the operation shit down. Saying that Stuarts of London does offer a small selection.

Sadly, they don’t stock this new collection, which is a selection of classic satin US sports jackets of the 1950s and 1960s. All are constructed from vintage cotton-backed satin and finished with sewn felt or twill lettering, along with embroidered sleeve patches.

The finished product looks amazing, rocking something of an ivy league vibe, as well as being practical enough to wear out and about any time when the weather is playing nicely. Just a few are pictured here; have a look at the retailer’s website for the full selection.

Don’t worry about the sizing either, as a full range is currently available. As for price, they retail for between $160 and $200.
