I say series because that’s pretty much what this is. You might recall the 1970s Timex x Todd Snyder Blackjack Watch, the Beekman watch and of course, the Timex x Todd Snyder Mod Watch, which have all featured on the site in the past – and all of which are still available to buy.

This one follows a similar formula, with Todd Snyder digging into the archives to finds this ‘lost’ 1950s design, taking the look and updating the inner workings.

That original 50s watch was called the Mercury and looked pretty much like the one you see here. The difference is beyond those looks, with the original V-Conic inner workings updated with a quartz movement. That’s pretty much it.

So still encased in stainless steel and bound with a genuine leather strap, the watch has the retro face too, which is a silver-tone dial with gold-tone indices and hands.
