Always a popular design, this Lois Tejana thin cord jacket is likely to be even more popular at half price.

I have written about them before and they are always a good seller. It’s a minor classic from the 1970s and an archive reissue. The Lois name on a classic cord jacket. All the details and nothing else added. Which is what you want really.

The trademark ‘thin cord’ shell is what makes this stand out – but you can go for a jumbo cord too. In fact, there is a jumbo cord version in dark brown in the sale too.

But this one appeals to me. This is a shade described as burnt ochre and exclusive to Stuarts of London. It’s a strong colour and for me, the most eye-catching of the current range. But best of all, this one is currently less than half price in the sale in all the popular sizes.

As for the details, this is your classic ‘Western’ trucker jacket with western-style front pleats, buttoned tab adjusters at the hem and four pocket details – two buttoned flap pockets at the chest and two side pockets. There’s also branded gold-coloured buttons, suede signature branding to hem at the front left, and woven tab branding at the left hand chest pocket.

A regular fit and the short length you would expect, the jacket is in the sale in all sizes, discounted from £105 to a much more appealing £52.50. But only while existing stock lasts. I can’t see that being long.
