I picked one of the up and to be honest, the Lacoste water-resistant canvas smock is earning its keep right now.

The odd thing is, it doesn’t look quite like the photo. Well, it does, but the pull strings on mine were actually navy rather than white. To be honest, I prefer that as they’ll not look grubby after a matter of weeks. Always an issue.

One other thing to note is that the fit, although right for me (I’m a solid medium) is quite baggy. But that’s a smock for you. The arms are spot on, but like most smocks, it’s a fairly wide fit.

Anyway, that’s that out of the way. The rest is all about the look. The Lacoste badge might be an issue for some (a lot of people have hang-ups on logos) but it is a classic and looks good on the equally classic navy shade of blue.

Button collar, button cuffs and two sizeable pockets on the front. Being water-resistant this is perfect for the current showery summer weather and as such, well worth a look with it being in the sale.

Note that there is a white version too, but the blue is the one that works best for me. Originally £140, this is now down to £84 with most sizes available.
