There is something of a Goodfellas vibe about these retro buttoned cardigans at Far Afield.
I suppose all cardigans are buttoned in some way. The difference here is that it’s a full-button front, reminiscent of the stuff worn in the Goodfellas movie – and recently reproduced by Scott Fraser Collection.

Not that these are in any way copies of those. The designs here, whilst operating in similar territory, tread their own path.
The knits here, in autumnal shades of brown, are produced from 100 per cent organic cotton. They have a multi-stripe front, a full-button finish, and a good-sized collar.

It works fully buttoned but also works as a kind of layer over a t-shirt if that’s more your thing. Either way, it’s a strong retro look if you like your knitwear designed to look like it is from the middle of the 20th century.
