A lot of updates to this style on the shelves right now, but the Beams Plus M51 Down Parka will obviously be one to check out.
I love Beams Plus designs. Mainly because most of there designs are updates of timeless silhouettes from the mid-20th century. All reworked with the added ingredient of quality.
It is pouring down here today, but I’ve been relying on a Beams Plus Gore-Tex anorak to keep me dry. It definitely hasn’t let me down.
I suspect this take on the M51 aka fishtail parka is going to be a winner too, especially over the colder winter months.
The parka is down-filled to boost insulation, with a polyester outer to keep you dry too. Outside of that are drawstring details at the hood, waist and hem, a press stud fishtail hem and finally, zip closure with a storm flap.
Not cheap at £575, but this is a coat that will do you proud this year and many more too if you look after it.
