Retro football bomber jackets by Copa (image credit: Copa)
I have featured a couple of items by this maker in the past, but the retro football bomber jackets by Copa are worth a mention collectively.
You probably know Copa from the Inter training tops I featured in the recent past. And that’s the company’s selling point – reproducing vintage football designs, especially lesser-seen items from history, as well as a few pieces inspired by the past.
There are plenty of retro football jackets, and all are worth checking out. But the range of football bomber jackets is the standout for me. It’s an ever-changing range, too, with designs coming and going regularly.
But the designs are all focused on a similar look: a classic bomber jacket on a track jacket with contrasting stripes on the collar, cuffs, and hem. The rest of the detailing is based on the team you go with.
Those are a mix of club and international teams, most with badges and designs in keeping with the era of the team they represent. You can probably get a better idea of what that means by looking at the images of the jackets here.
Working down the page, I’ve picked out Italy 1982 (with Italia in large letters on the back), Panathinaikos 1971, 1960s Belgium, Atletico Madrid 1969, and 1960s France.
All come in presentation boxes (so great for gifts) and all cost around £79.
See them all at the Copa website.
