As a new shade has just landed and the warmer weather approaches, I thought I would mention the Brian Wilson t-shirt by 66 Clothing.

I know. This was released a while back, and as a result, a couple of sizes of the original are now in short supply. But with a new colour on the shelves this week, it seems like a good time to flag it up.

The t-shirt is likely to appeal if you are a fan of the Beach Boys – or at least, their look – from the 1960s. It’s a striped t-shirt based on something Brian Wilson might well have been seen in as he hovered around the studio or even went for a stroll on a Californian beach. In fact, I believe the top is based on one worn by Brian back in the day. Specifically, the burgundy stripe.

Don’t worry if you aren’t a fan. It’s still a good-looking piece of clobber.

I’ve had t-shirts from 66 Clothing, which are really well made. More solid than you would imagine from the word t-shirt. Just a little bit thicker. Note also the high collar and the contrasting cliffs and hem. Contrasting the striped body. As a result, a little bit smarter than your average casual t-shirt.

Sizing-wise, it’s described as quite fitted. So if you like things a bit looser, you might want to consider sizing up. See the size chart before you press the ‘buy’ button. As for price, each retails for £65. A good option for when the summer months arrive.
