When you think of Barbour, you probably think of country sports. But the Barbour Rokig waterproof jacket takes a different path.
It’s not that I have anything against a classic Barbour—I have one in my wardrobe, like many people do—but it’s that kind of outdoors look across much of its range, whereas this is more of an urban jacket.
It’s also perfect for the time of year. I know it’s been unseasonably warm lately, but this time of year is usually one for showers, and rest assured, they’ll be back soon. When they are, a waterproof jacket like this might be just the thing.
Smart because of its minimalist design, this lightweight jacket has a raincoat-like look with hidden fastening and just one exposed button. It also has a contrasting collar with check fabric and side pockets.
Of course, the quality of Barbour is also high —this will be a jacket that’s built to last. The new design is available in all sizes and is officially £169, although if you shop at Stuarts, you’ll get the 15 per cent off (which applies to most of the range).
