Drole de Monsieur reversible bomber jacket (image credit: End)
A bit out of my price range, but I still appreciate this newly-launched Drole de Monsieur reversible bomber jacket.
Don’t worry about it looking a bit baggy; I think the model is wearing a size up (large). The jacket should fit true to size, whatever way you wear it. And yes, it is pricey, but it’s also two jackets for the price of one. That’s the joy of a reversible.
I’ll be honest; I don’t know a lot about the label. But a bit of research suggests a French label with a fascination for clothing of the past. But a label very much about the modern era. And this jacket is a good example of what they do.
A bomber jacket, which is a piece of clothing that has been featured regularly on these pages. This cotton jacket in green has that eye-catching pattern on one side, with a contrasting plain green collar, cuffs and hem. Or you can go all green, with the jacket reversing to look more traditional in green, with off-white trims. Two side pockets here as all, plus the full-zip front.
It isn’t a cheap label, so the price of £515 isn’t a surprise. But as I said, this is two jackets rolled into one, and you never know; it might appear in the sales eventually if it is a bit rich for you right now.
