I recently did a round-up of the best classic striped t-shirts for the site, and I included an offering from 66 Clothing. Their t-shirts have a look and feel you don’t easily find elsewhere.

First off, the look. It’s a t-shirt that takes inspiration from the kind of thing worn in the surfer scene in the 1960s. Think early era Beach Boys if you like. Four colour options, all with a retro stripe. See which one you prefer.

Then there’s the construction. It’s a heavy t-shirt compared to many on the market, but not (if it’s like past runs) too heavy for the summer. But for the record, it is cut from a 300g cotton-poly blend, and as such, feels more premium than many out there. The one difference from past t-shirts is the presence of a logo. I’m not a massive fan of logos, but this one is pretty small and doesn’t seem like a deal breaker.

Only 100 are being produced in each colour, and with summer holidays around the corner, I can imagine the core sizes will be eaten into pretty quickly. If you fancy one of these, all sizes are currently available and each one sells for £44.
