Those roots are, of course, in Manchester. As you might know, the company started up in Manchester and made its iconic jackets there for many years. Bolton too, as I recall a factory making Baracuta clothing just down the road from my mum’s house when I was a small boy.

Everywhere from the Northern Quarter, to the historic Salford Lads Club (which isn’t in Manchester before anyone says it, but you get the idea). After that photo of The Smiths, it will always be connected to the city’s cultural heritage.
