Classic Clarks Deserts Boots get a Gore-Tex finish

C1
If the autumn and winter weather is a concern for your feet, you can always splash out on a pair of the Clarks GTX Deserts Boots.

The GTX is shorthand for Gore-Tex, which has been added to the classic sand suede upper in order to withstand the rain, snow or whatever else the weather might throw at you in the coming months.

But there is a flipside to this. As part of the modest redesign, these particular Desert Boots now have an EVA  / rubber sole instead of the iconic crepe sole. That might well be a deal breaker for a lot of people. You can understand the reasoning, but tradition is tradition.

If you can live with it and like the idea of a Desert Boot for all seasons, you can pick up a pair now. The price is £119.
