Bagua Krutno martial arts-inspired footwear

If the usual crop of plimsolls leave you cold, you could always have a look at the Bagua Krutno martial arts-inspired footwear.

It's been the brand of choice for martial arts since the 19th century, although this particular style is probably aimed more at the casual than the sports market.

It has an all canvas upper in a striped finish, contrasting side skirt and heel accent. There's also a low profile sole and an embossed Bagua brand tab on the tongue. £55 gets you a pair.

It's a vintage-style design, made up of yacht illustrations, ideal for anyone who loves being beside the sea (or just fancies something a little different). Take your pick between royal blue, black (pictured over the page) or a hi-top, with this new version of the 1917 shoe (yes really) offering a tonal rubber toe box and the bold colour, taking away the contrast form stripe.
