illuminated initials

found this the other day in a junk shop in sheffield, hand drawn and inked illuminated initials just £4 well worth the brass considering the amount of work that's gone into it, i'm wondering if this is created by the guy who drew it (signed norman e morris) or copied as an exercise in calligraphy ...... seems too well done for an amateur. either way it's mine now and ...... who knows i may well use it at some point.
